Quiz 12. Quiz 12 will be given on Thursday 5-4 and will cover Sections 13.1 and 13.2. The quiz will take about 15-20 minutes. Calculators are permitted. Quiz problems are similar to homework problems.
Final Exam. The Final Exam in this class will be given on Tuesday May 9, 430pm-715pm in the same room where we have class. About 1/2 of the final exam will cover Sections 12.7, 13.1-13.4 and portions of 13.7 and 13.8 (basically calculation of divergence and curl together with the properties that F conservative implies curl F=0, and that div(curl F)=0.) There will be no questions explicitly from Sections 10.1-10.5, although you will need to know how to do for example dot products and cross products for the other exam questions. You are permitted to bring in one sheet of 8.5x11 paper with notes on it. A calculator is also permitted.
Deadlines. Please be aware of all relevant deadlines. Details may be found here.
Uncollected Quizzes. All uncollected quizzes will be placed in an envelope on the wall outside my office (S&T1, 261). If you do not pick up your quiz when they are returned in class, you can pick it up outside my office.
