Doron Levy is an applied mathematician whose research focuses on biomedical applications of mathematics, including cancer dynamics, drug resistance, immunology, imaging, and cell motility. He is Chair of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland and Director of the Brin Mathematics Research Center.

Carol S. Woodward

Carol S. Woodward is a computational mathematician in LLNL's Center for Applied Scientific Computing. Her research includes numerical methods for nonlinear PDEs, nonlinear and linear solvers, time integration, numerical software, and parallel computing. She currently serves as President of SIAM.

Poster Session

Poster submissions are encouraged, especially from graduate students, postdocs, and early-career researchers.

We invite posters from all areas of applied mathematics, computational science, data science, scientific machine learning, mathematical biology, optimization, numerical analysis, and related fields. The poster blitz will provide brief introductions, followed by a dedicated poster session for informal discussion.

11:30 am–12:30 pm	Poster session	Poster viewing, informal discussion, and networking with the regional SIAM community.
12:30–1:30 pm	Lunch	Lunch and continued informal discussion.
1:30–3:00 pm	Funding-agency panel	Confirmed panelists from NSF, DOE, and AFOSR. Format: short remarks followed by moderated discussion and audience questions.
3:00–3:30 pm	Networking break and posters	Coffee break and continued poster viewing.
3:30–4:30 pm	Plenary Talk II	Carol S. Woodward, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Title TBA.
4:30–4:45 pm	Closing remarks	Closing remarks and informal networking.

Funding-Agency Panel

The panel will provide an opportunity for students, postdocs, and faculty to hear about current funding priorities, proposal mechanisms, and how to engage with program officers.
