COURSE ACTIVITIES
1. On-line Exercises: You will be doing weekly problem sets on-line. You must get an access code in order to create an account. You can get this access code either by coming to class or by coming to my office hours. Follow these instructions to set up your account and to view and complete the assigned problem set. If you're savvy enough not to need the instructions, go to www.mymathlab.com to create your account, and then return to the same site to find out what has been assigned for homework.
2. Additional Book Problems: You will also have weekly written problem sets. This is because the on-line problems are not varied and advanced enough. You must turn these in to Vatsala Bisht during recitation, or to her mailbox before recitation if you won't be in recitation any particular week. They are due one week later. No late assignments will be accepted.
2. Maple assignments: Click here to get the assignments and their due dates. There are also some links for getting help and getting started with Maple.
3. On-line exam: Sept. 18 (available all day), on Chapter 1. You will find this exam on your account at www.mymathlab.com. Follow these instructions to set up your account and login if you haven't already.
4. In-class exams: currently scheduled for Oct. 15 and Nov. 5
5. Final exam: currently scheduled for Dec. 10, 4pm-7:15.
