An interdisciplinary Approach to Knowledge Management for Autonomous Cooperating Logistic Processes

The Collaborative Research Center "Autonomous Cooperating Logistic Processes" has been funded by the German Research Foundation from 2004 to 2007 by 6.5 M EURO, and will be funded from 2008 to 2011 by 8 M EURO. It comprises more than 50 full-time researchers from Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, Logistics, Management Science, and Production Engineering. Multiagent Systems play a prominent role in the architectural design for autonomous cooperating processes. The talk will concentrate on the knowledge management issues for these processes.
