Reminder on Homework Policy.
I would like to ask each of you to please keep in mind the following rules vis a
vis the homework:
(1) Please staple your homework together. Please no loose pages, paper clips or binder clips.
(2) Please work your problems in order. I might suggest doing each problem on a separate sheet of paper if it is your preference to actually work the problems out of order.
(3) Please review your proofs for clarity and correctness before handing them in. Rewrite the proofs neatly if necessary.
(4) Please do not adopt the attitude that says, "I don't really understand how to do this problem, so I will take a shot and see if I get any points." I am always willing to give hints and if necessary extensions if you are having trouble with any particular assignment.
(5) On any assignment, if you score 5 or below on a problem, you can resubmit the problem before the next class meeting. Please turn in your original assignment with the resubmitted problems so that I can properly adjust your grade. Also please do not resubmit problems on which you scored more than 5.
Thank you.
