On Thursday 1 May we completed Section 16.3 You are responsible for the exercises in all sections up to 16.3.
Final Exam Review Session. There will be a review session for the final exam on Tuesday, May 6, 1:00pm -- 2:30pm in Lecture Hall 3. Come there with any questions you may have about recent material and about the final exam.
Final Exam. The final exam for this class will be given on Thursday May 8, 4:30pm -- 7:15pm in the same room where we have class. The final exam will be cumulative. It will be about half again as long as an hour exam which means you should have plenty of time to complete it. About half of the exam will cover material from Sections 15.7, 16.1, 16.2, and 16.3, and the rest of the exam will be on other sections covered during the semester. There will be no questions on the final taken directly from any section we covered in Chapter 12, however you are responsible for the concepts covered in that chapter to the extent that they appear in subsequent sections. It is recommended that you study the most recent material first, as this is where the emphasis of the final exam will be. You are permitted to bring a calculator to the final as well as up to 4 3x5 note cards with notes, or one 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper with notes. Problems on the final exam will be similar to problems on the three mid-term exams, quizzes and homework sets.

Uncollected Quizzes. All uncollected quizzes will be placed in an envelope on the wall outside my office (S&T1, 261). If you do not pick up your quiz when they are returned in class, you can pick it up outside my office.
