Math Tutoring Center

The immensely popular Undergraduate Mathematics Tutoring Center, located in the Johnson Center room 344, specializes in general help for freshman/sophomore math classes. It is staffed by upper division mathematics majors and graduate students.

Availability:

Free tutoring is available on a walk-in basis for all George Mason students enrolled in math courses up to MATH 290.

Tutors:

The tutors in the Mathematics Tutoring Center are mathematics graduate students and upper level undergraduate math, physics, computer science and engineering majors. If you have an interest in becoming a tutor, please contact Ellen O'Brien. A strong background in Calculus is required. Math 125 and Math 290 are preferred.

Summer 2008 - Starting May 19th

Mon. 12:00pm-4:00pm
Tues. 12:00pm-8:00pm
Wed. 12:00pm-4:00pm
Thurs. 12:00pm-8:00pm

The center will be closed on all University holidays and when classes are not in session.
