Title:
Deformations of three-holed spheres and one-holed tori
Abstract: Let G be free discrete subgroup of PSL(2,R). If H is the hyperbolic plane, then H/G is either a three-holed sphere or a one-holed torus. We consider two different deformations of this group, a deformation of G inside PSL(2,R) and an affine deformation of G, and develop the dictionary between the two types of deformations.
