Title: Global existence of rough solutions for the cubic defocusing Schrodinger equation
Abstract: I will present a method for proving global existence of rough solutions for the cubic defocusing Schrodinger equation. Rough means that the initial data are below the energy norm. The method combines the techniques developed by Bourgain and Tao and his group with correlation type estimates (Lin-Strauss). Finally I would like to give some motivation for the study of this type of questions.
