In addition to satisfying all university-wide general education requirements, students must present the following:

Mathematics requirements

  •  MATH 113, 114, 203, 213 or 215, 214 or 216, 290,  322 
  •  MATH 125, 315, 351, 352, 453, 551
Additional requirements
  • Science requirements:
    • A one-year of a laboratory sequence selected from one of the following:
      • PHYS 160, 161, 260, 261
      • CHEM 211, 212
      • GEOL 101, 102
    • One of the following three options:
      • A second sequence from the list above
      • PHYS 262, 263
      • 6 credits from more advanced courses in chemistry, geology, or physics (but only courses acceptable for credit toward a natural science major)
  • Statistics requirements: STAT 362, 6 credits from STAT 455, STAT 457, STAT 463, STAT 474
  • Computational requirement: CS 112
