Bachelor of Arts - Concentration in Education
- Students would take all courses required for the BA in Mathematics.
- MATH 302, 315, 321, and 351. No addtional MATH 300+ courses are required.
- EDUC 422, 372, EDCI 372, 472, 490 and EDRD 419.
Note: EDUC 372 fulfills the Soc. Sci.
Gen. Ed requirement and EDCI 490 (student teaching) fulfills the synthesis
requirement.
Bachelor of Science - Concentration in Education
- Students would take all
courses required for the BS in Mathematics with a concentration in
traditional mathematics with the exception of MATH 316.
- MATH 302, 321, 351 and one MATH 300+ elective. No addtional MATH 300+ courses are required.
- EDUC 422, 372, EDCI 372, 472, 490 and EDRD 419.
Note: EDUC 372 fulfills the Soc. Sci.
Gen. Ed requirement and EDCI 490 (student teaching) fulfills the synthesis
requirement.

as soon as possible and not later than spring of their sophomore year (before
registering for next Fall classes).
Students have to fulfill the Education requirements (see form),
including an overall GPA of 3.0. Student
may have to take the Praxis I exam.
