Title: Big Data and HIV Modeling

Abstract: Over the past decade, the breadth and depth of HIV infection datasets has exploded. From a mathematical and statistical perspective, these new datasets pose significant challenges. In this talk, I will consider a high dimensional stochastic ODE model of HIV infection applicable to such big datasets. I will then describe a computational inference method through which the model can be fit to data in order to address problems of biological significance.
