Current announcements:
The final exam will be on Thursday,
December 17, in our regular classroom at 10:30 am. It is scheduled to last
until 1:15. THIS IS IMPORTANT: you need to arrive on time. If
you arrive after someone has finished the final and has left the room, you will
not be allowed to take the final exam and your grade on the final will be 0.
All finals will be collected at 1:15.
The final will be comprehensive,
and a review sheet is posted below. I will include a copy of the first
quadrant of the unit circle, in radian measure only, on the final exam.
A list of sections we have covered
from chapters 5 and 6 and of relevant problems is posted below in the section
titled "Homework list."

Our coverage of Trigonometry has been from both chapters 5 and 6 (you will see that much of the material is repeated in the early sections of the chapters.) The following summarizes what we have covered and what will be covered on the final exam.
We started in Chapter 6, section 6.1 (problems 1, 3, 5, 7, 13, 15, 17, 19, 25, 27, 31, 33, 37, 49, 53, 55, 56), Section 6.2 (problems 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 11 (find exact answers only), 17, 10, 21, 23, 25, 29), and Section 6.3 (problems 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 21, 23, 25, 27, 33, 35, 43, 45, 47, 49). We have also covered portions of Chapter 5, Section 5.1 (problems 1, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 33, 35), and Section 5.2 (problems 3, 5, 7, 9. 13, 15, 23, 27, 29, 31, 33, 49, 51). We briefly touched on material in Section 5.3, but it will not be on the final exam.
